Pebble Beach 2007- Best of Show

I've been lucky enough to attend this event for years and with absolutely perfect cars and weather, the 2007 edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance ranked near the top. This years field brought a strong showing of Duesenbergs, Astons and Ferrari's mixed with the occasional Bugatti and Delahaye. I felt the Best of Show was well deserved!

A perfect Duesenberg. Easy to imagine howling down the coast to Hearst Castle in this.

Wonderful works of art, the pre-war French sports cars of Talbot Lago.

A rare 1954 Ferrari 250 Monza Spyder, still wearing its Carrera Panamericana livery.

1938 Bugatti Type 57c, displayed in the "preservation class"
Christies sold this car at auction for $852k. It had been in storage since 1962.

SCDC's Best of Show- a 1953 Ferrari 250mm Spyder
with completely under rated styling by Vignale...

...and the real Best of Show, a 1932 Duesenberg one-off racer known as the "Mormon Meteor"

Until next year, adios from Pebble Beach!
